photographic images on dichroic glass

We recently completed a new public art project for a community centre outside Bristol. Each of the ten dichroic glass fins presents a segment of a photograph of the local countryside. At certain angles the images line up to reveal the full landscape of trees bordering a lake. For the adjoining cafe, we created a woodland scene that allows light to flicker through the image as if through a canopy of trees.

Layered Glass

We manufactured this glass artwork, designed by an interior design company, for an office entryway in London. The geometric design was created in three layers of glass with dark mirror spaced off white glass and LED back-lighting.

Astana Garden, Kazakhstan

Screen Printed and slumped glass garden feature

We created a bespoke glass artwork for this formal garden in Astana. Working with an international landscape architect, Randle Siddeley, this artwork was designed to contrast the surrounding landscape. We collaborated with the renowned glass artist, Martin Donlin, to produce the layered imagery of horses for this external screen. The glass was screen-printed and slumped, creating a texture that not only responds well to artificial light but shimmers in sunlight.

Designed by the well-known painter Christopher Le Brun it has been created entirely with hand-painted vitreous enamels based on his original oil painting.? You can see the brush strokes and feel?the hand of the artist in every nuance of the window creating a unique experience.
